Certified Installation with Q-Mark Accredited Fire Doors
Freebird holds the BM Trada Q-Mark Fire Door Installation Accreditation. This is the gold standard of accreditation for fire doors.
By working under this scheme, we are accountable to BM Trada for all of our installations. We are audited regularly on the quality and compliance of our work. Under the scheme, we must keep records of every door that we install to demonstrate that it has been installed correctly and according to the manufacturer’s instructions, BS8214 or the ASDMA guidelines.
We demonstrate that our fire doors have been installed under the BM Trada Q-Mark Scheme by applying a gold Q-Mark label or inserting a ‘gold tree’ plug into the edge of the door leaf. Both of these carry our unique identifier so that the doorset can be traced back to us.
